ScummVM Archive Part 2

icon Part Two covers the ScummVM releases from December 2004 to August 2008, a total of 61 additional games were supported by the interpreter during this period, support for the AGI fanmade games was also added. The significant change to the Dreamcast port was the inclusion of a game engine plugin system.

With the limitations of the Dreamcast and the increasing number of games compatible with ScummVM, a Plugin system was introduced with version 0.7.0, each game engine would now have its own plugin in the form of a PLG file. Dreamcast users could now create their own custom CD by using the ScummVM binary, a single engine plugin and the required data files for their chosen game.
