Istappen

icon A game where a solitary stickman has to avoid falling icicles and grab the bonus packages, developed with Fenix for Windows and Linux, then ported to Dreamcast by its author in 2006.

Istapp is Swedish for Icicle, the goal of Istappen is to avoid the falling icicles for as long as possible by moving your stickman left or right, extra points are available by grabbing the falling packages. The game is a remake of a Ti-83 calculator game made by the author for a school-event.

Istappen was developed with Fenix from the ground up by Daniel Eriksson (aka Imerion), the Dreamcast version was released by Imerion in February 2006 and updated in March 2006. The game was newsposted, but not hosted by DCEmu.co.uk.

The sourcecode from Istappen was used by Brian Deuel (aka Atari) as inspiration to develop the game Crystals Of Xaz, the game was never released and eventually completely re-developed with new code and released as Primitive Nightmare in 2010.
