Fenix

Fenix is a simple high-level game creation language, based on DIV, Fenix is the codename for a project to create a free compiler for a scripting language derived from the one created by Hammer Technologies for the Game Developement Suite DIV Games Studio. The DIV Games Studio was a complete development environment which provided an integrated set of graphics and sound manipulation tools plus a dedicated programming language and debugger.

The Fenix project is no longer maintained, BennuGD (a fork of Fenix) has superseded the project and is now considered the more advanced and stable language, having been expanded with more functionality.

The goal for the Dreamcast port of Fenix was to create an easy development environment for Windows or GNU/Linux and execute Fenix executables under those platforms, and eventually the Dreamcast (or GP32) consoles. This section of the site serves as an archive for the games developed with Fenix and adapted for the Dreamcast.
